SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – dbatlayar sukses mengundang gelak tawa penonton ketika secara tidak terduga menyanyikan lagu “Delman Istimewa” dan “Heli Guk Guk Guk” sebagai pembuka penampilan mereka di panggung Closing Night RADIOACTIVE 2024: Valiant Against Fear! pada Sabtu (02/11/24).
Selesai dengan lagu anak-anak, grup musik beranggotakan sepasang kakak beradik ini melanjutkan penampilannya dengan membawakan lagu-lagu hit lawas, seperti “Sesaat Kau Hadir” dari Utha Likumahuwa, “Anak Sekolah” dari Chrisye, dan “Rame-rame” dari Glen Fredly.

Seusai mengajak penonton bernostalgia, Joy dan Dave akhirnya menghabiskan penampilan mereka malam itu dengan mengajak penonton galau bersama lewat lagu “Badut Baru”.
Bagi Ultimates yang mungkin belum tahu, dbatlayar adalah grup musik beraliran pop yang beranggotakan dua orang kakak beradik, yaitu Dave dan Joy. dbatlayar resmi terbentuk pada 2020 lalu.
Acara pun dilanjutkan dengan pengunguman tiga pemenang lomba Radio Announcing Competition (RAC) yang merupakan rangkaian acara utama dari RADIOACTIVE 2024: “Surviving the Maze”.
Juara pertama dimenangkan oleh Radio Mercu Buana dari Universitas Mercu Buana, juara kedua oleh tim Fourtyfive Radio dari Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jakarta, dan juara ketiga yaitu Pasundan Radio dari Universitas Pasundan (UNPAS).
Acara pun ditutup dengan meriah oleh penampilan dari Rumahsakit. Grup musik beraliran britpop (British pop) asal Indonesia ini membawakan total sebelas lagu, termasuk “Anomali”, “The Journey Starts Tonight”, “Hilang”, “Normal”, “Panasea”, “Pop Kinetik”, dan “Kuning” sebagai lagu penutup.

Berakhirnya penampilan Rumahsakit menjadi penutup acara Closing Night RADIOACTIVE 2024: Valiant Against Fear! sekaligus penutup seluruh rangkaian acara RADIOACTIVE 2024.
RADIOACTIVE sendiri merupakan acara rutin yang diselenggarakan setiap tahunnya oleh UMN Radio, salah satu media kampus UMN. RADIOACTIVE 2024 diselenggarakan dengan tema “Surviving the Maze” bersama maskot api bernama Iggy yang menggambarkan perjuangan manusia dalam menghadapi rintangan kehidupan.
