SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – Playzone 4.0 menutup rangkaian kegiatannya dengan menyerahkan donasi sebesar Rp 15.010.000 kepada Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Padang yang disiarkan secara langsung melalui kanal Youtube Playzone 4.0, Kamis (26/11/20).
“Revive diadakan sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap penanggulangan COVID-19, di mana total donasi dari kegiatan Playzone 4.0 diserahkan ke PMI Kota Padang. Jadi melalui Playzone 4.0, kami berkompetisi sambil berdonasi,” ucap Albert selaku Ketua Playzone 4.0.
Hal ini disambut baik oleh Plt Ketua PMI Padang Bapak Zaiful Zakaria. Menurutnya, kerja sama ini sangat positif karena PMI sebagai lembaga non-pemerintah diperbolehkan untuk berkolaborasi dengan siapapun terkait dengan kepentingan kemanusiaan.
“Kami menyambut baik Playzone 4.0, sekaligus event ini kan paling disenangi oleh anak muda,” lanjut Zaiful dalam wawancara melalui kanal live Instagram, Sabtu (31/10/20).
Antusias peserta juga terlihat dalam kompetisi gim yang berlangsung selama 3 hari tersebut, mulai dari Jumat (20/11/20) hingga Minggu (22/11/20). Terlihat dari 64 tim tersebar di berbagai daerah seperti Jabodetabek, Semarang, Padang, Papua, dan Jambi yang bergabung untuk berkompetisi dan tersisa 16 tim di babak final. Setelah perjalanan panjang, Dazzle Team keluar sebagai pemenang ditambah Crocodile yang merupakan salah satu anggota tim mendapatkan gelar most kill. Juara kedua dan ketiga diraih oleh VIRUZ dan AMSCO MAX.
Playzone 4.0 merupakan gabungan turnamen PUBG serta charity yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Multimedia Nusantara Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi 2018. Konsep penyelenggaraannya sendiri dibagi menjadi 5 zona, yakni Safe Zone, Red Zone, Blue Zone, Playzone, dan Revive.
