SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – ALIVE 10.0 telah menggelar gelar wicara bertajuk “SHINE: Skin Health Innovations and Nutritional Education” pada Kamis (14/11/24) di Lecture Theatre, gedung D Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). Gelar wicara ini menjadi puncak acara dari ketiga rangkaian acara ALIVE 10.0.
“SHINE” ALIVE 10.0 membahas secara menyeluruh tentang teknik-teknik perawatan kulit. Gelar wicara ini mengundang dr. Dieny Rizka Nugrahanti, dokter kulit dari Larissa Aesthetic Center dan Nelly Carlina sebagai narasumber. Acara dipandu oleh Shopyana Fatikha sebagai moderator yang banyak berinteraksi dengan para penonton.

Pembicara membuka dengan menjelaskan fungsi dan struktur kulit, menyebutkan bahwa kulit merupakan organ perlindungan terbesar yang dimiliki tubuh. Selain berfungsi sebagai proteksi, kulit menunjang pengaturan suhu badan, produksi vitamin, serta mengeluarkan air dan zat yang tidak dibutuhkan.
Dieny lanjut menjelaskan bahwa ada beberapa jenis kulit yang berbeda, yakni kulit kering, kulit normal, kulit berminyak, kulit kombinasi dan kulit sensitif.
Ciri-ciri kulit kering adalah terasa kencang, kasar dan tampak kusam. Sementara itu, kulit berminyak memiliki pori-pori yang besar sehingga rentan terhadap jerawat dan komedo. Di sisi lain, kulit yang normal biasanya memiliki tekstur halus, elastisitas, dan tampak bersih dengan warna merata.
Kulit kombinasi merujuk kepada campuran beberapa jenis kulit dengan bagian tertentu yang berminyak, sedangkan bagian lainnya lebih kering atau normal. Lalu, kulit sensitif adalah kulit yang mudah teriritasi dan rentan bereaksi negatif terhadap bahan-bahan yang keras.
“Banyak sekali faktor-faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi jenis kulit. Bisa dari cuaca, air, skincare yang kita pakai, makanan yang kita makan, dan sebagainya,” jelas Dieny.
Pembahasan kemudian beralih ke cara menjaga kesehatan kulit. Antara lain, kulit bisa dirawat dengan menjaga kebersihan, menghindari paparan sinar UV dan polusi, serta konsumsi makanan bernutrisi. Selain itu, Dieny juga menekankan pentingnya untuk menghindari tembakau atau merokok.
“Bahas apapun tentang kesehatan pasti ada tips tentang– hindari rokok, jangan merokok. Rokok kan istilahnya menghisap zat ke paru-paru. Tapi zat itu secara tidak langsung atau perlahan-lahan akan menimbulkan tanda-tanda pelemahan yang muncul di muka kita,” ujar Dieny mengenai hubungan merokok dengan kesehatan kulit.
Dieny mengingatkan untuk menjaga kebersihan secara menyeluruh dalam perawatan kulit, termasuk kebersihan tangan yang kerap kali menyentuh wajah secara tidak sadar.
Perawatan kulit juga bisa dibantu dengan menghindari stres yang berlebihan.
“Selain mempengaruhi hormon kita, stres itu juga mengganggu tidur kita. (Kalau) tidur terganggu, pasti akan mempengaruhi kesehatan kulit juga,” ucap Dieny.

Pembicara juga bertukar obrolan mengenai pentingnya melakukan deep cleansing secara rutin. Selain membersihkan wajah dengan sabun cuci muka, produk skincare eksfoliasi dapat digunakan untuk bantu merawat dan menyegarkan kulit.
ALIVE merupakan kegiatan tahunan di bawah naungan UMN Medical Center yang mengangkat tema beragam seputar kesehatan. Tahun ini, ALIVE 10.0 mengusung tema tentang kesehatan kulit dengan tagline “Harmonize Your Skin, Confidence Within”.
