SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – Media Group melalui Medcom.id menyelenggarakan Online Scholarship (OSC) Awards dan Indonesia Rector Forum (IREF) 2024 pada Kamis (19/12/24) di Studio Grand Metro TV.
Dua kegiatan tersebut merupakan bentuk kontribusi Medcom.id untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang kompeten, inovatif, dan siap bersaing. IREF 2024 sendiri memiliki tema “Kolaborasi Perguruan Tinggi Menuju Indonesia Emas 2025.”

IREF 2024 diadakan untuk menjadi forum berdiskusi dan berbagi visi dalam merancang strategi pencapaian Indonesia Emas 2045. Acara ini dihadiri oleh Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains dan Teknologi (Mendiktisaintek) Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro sebagai pembicara utamanya.
Selain itu, kegiatan juga diramaikan oleh Kepala Brin Laksana Tri Handoko, Ketua Harian Komisi Nasional Indonesia untuk UNESCO Itje Chodidjah, Kepala Pusat Kurikulum dan Pembelajaran Kemendikdasmen Ri Laksmi Dewi, hingga rektor dari 26 perguruan tinggi negeri serta swasta.

OSC sendiri merupakan kompetisi beasiswa dalam jaringan (daring) pertama di Indonesia yang diinisiasi oleh Surya Edukasi Bangsa Foundation bersama Medcom.id dan telah berusia satu dekade.
Program beasiswa ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi anak-anak Indonesia untuk mendapatkan akses pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Sebelumnya, OSC 2024 telah menyiapkan 530 beasiswa S1, S2 dan santri untuk 24 perguruan tinggi swasta di Indonesia.
