Serpong, ULTIMAGZ.COM – Dewa United Banten sukses mempertahankan kemenangan beruntun di Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) 2024 setelah melawan Rajawali Medan pada Sabtu (20/04/24) di Dewa United Basecamp, Tangerang, Banten.
Klub di bawah asuhan pelatih Pablo Favarel ini sukses mencetak kemenangan kesembilan, mempertahankan nol kekalahan sepanjang musim IBL 2024. Pertandingan ini secara tidak langsung memberikan Rajawali Medan kekalahan kedelapannya dalam musim ini.

Dengan Starting-V Hardianus Lakudu (2), Jordan Adams (5), Kaleb Ramot Gemilang (13), Lester Prosper (32), dan Tavario Miller (11), Dewa memimpin 11 poin di kuarter pertama. Poin pertama dicetak oleh Miller melalui lemparan bebas (free throw) dan selanjutnya didominasi oleh Jordan dengan sumbangan 12 poin.
Kuarter pertama diakhiri dengan perolehan poin 28-17 atas Dewa dan kuarter kedua dibuka dengan tiga rentetan tembakan threepoint oleh Dewa. Hal itu sukses mempertahankan celah yang dibuat Dewa di kuarter kedua dengan poin akhir 56-34.
Walaupun kuarter ketiga dibuka oleh tembakan three point Mcglynn (22) dari Rajawali, Jordan (5) kembali agresif mencetak tembakan three point untuk Dewa. Perolehan poin terus terjadi oleh Dewa yang membawa 32 poin tambahan dengan skor akhir 88-56 pada kuarter ketiga.
Konsistensi Dewa mengalami penurunan di kuarter keempat setelah pelatih Pablo menurunkan pemain di luar Starting-V. Febrianus Khiandio (23) gagal menembak poin sehingga menjadi satu-satunya pemain Dewa yang belum mampu mencetak angka setelah diberikan kesempatan untuk bermain selama 8 menit 16 detik.
“Tentunya penampilan yang tidak konsisten ini harus segera kami perbaiki di game selanjutnya. Karena para pemain yang telah dipercaya masuk ke line up harusnya lebih siap untuk tampil,” ujar pelatih Pablo dilansir dari m.dewaunited.com mengenai landainya performa Dewa pada kuarter keempat.
Hal ini mengakibatkan Dewa hanya mampu mencetak 10 poin pada kuarter keempat, sehingga hasil akhir poin berada pada angka 98-73.
Dalam pertandingan ini, Jordan Adams (5) kembali menjadi Player of the Game mencetak 27 poin, 12 rebound, dan 3 assist dari total 24 menit bermain di lapangan. Namun, pebasket asal Amerika Serikat itu mengakui masih belum puas dengan performanya pada permainan kali ini.

“Setelah jeda yang cukup panjang, memang sulit untuk mengembalikan performa seperti semula. Tapi, kami bisa mengatasi tekanan lawan dan keluar sebagai pemenangnya,” ujar Jordan Adams.
Di sisi Rajawali, Jabari Bird (92) mencetak poin terbanyak di angka 17, disusul Patrick McGlynn (22) dengan 15 poin, dan Jonas Zohore Bergstedt (6) dengan 13 poin. Ini menjadi kekalahan kedua mereka di pekan kesembilan yang sebelumnya gugur melawan Bima Perkasa Jogja.
