SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – Golden Globes 2021 resmi dinyatakan selesai dengan mengumumkan “Nomadland” sebagai Film Terbaik Kategori Drama pada Senin (01/03/21). Selain itu, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” turut mendapatkan predikat Film Kategori Musikal dan Komedi Terbaik.
Di lain sisi, “The Crown” berhasil menyabet gelar sebagai Serial Televisi Terbaik Kategori Drama, sedangkan kategori Musikal dan Komedi Terbaik dimenangkan oleh “Schitt’s Creek”.
Netflix sendiri menjadi rumah produksi dengan kandidat terbanyak, baik dalam nominasi film maupun serial televisi.

Pada konten serial, program unggulan “Mank” dan “The Crown” berhasil meraih enam nominasi. “Schitt’s Creek” menyusul dengan lima nominasi, sementara “Ozark” dan “The Undoing” masing-masing mendapat empat. Untuk kategori film, “The Trial of the Chicago 7” mendapat lima nominasi, sedangkan “Hamilton” dua nominasi.
Selain “The Crown”, serial anyar “The Queen’s Gambit” juga menarik perhatian karena berhasil memenangkan kategori Serial Televisi Terbatas Terbaik. Tidak ketinggalan, pemeran utamanya yaitu Anya Taylor-Joy turut menyempurnakan kemenangan dengan menyabet Pemeran Utama Wanita Terbaik untuk kategori serupa.
Selain itu, film Korea Selatan “Minari” juga tidak ketinggalan dalam pesta penghargaan dengan memenangkan kategori Film Terbaik Kategori Bahasa Asing.
Adapula film unggulan arahan Christopher Nolan, “Tenet”, tidak meraih penghargaan apa pun. Begitu pula dengan serial anyar produksi Disney, “The Mandalorian”, turut menerima nasib yang sama.
