Yang Bersinar di Deretan Nominasi Academy Awards 2018

LOS ANGELES, ULTIMAGZ.com – Ajang apresiasi industri film, The Oscars, telah mengumumkan nama-nama yang masuk dalam nominasi dari 24 kategori di tahun ini. Puncak dari acara ini sendiri akan diselenggarakan pada Minggu (04/03/18) mendatang, dan disiarkan secara langsung dari ABC, Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat.

Seusai kesuksesan La La Land yang membawa pulang 6 piala dari 14 kategori yang dinominasikan, kali ini The Academy membuka peluang besar bagi film besutan sutradara asal Meksiko Guillermo del Toro, The Shape of Water, yang memiliki kemungkinan untuk menyamai prestasi La La Land setelah dinominasikan dalam 13 kategori pada ajang tahun ini.

Film yang dibintangi oleh Sally Hawkins tersebut dicantumkan dalam beberapa nominasi besar, yakni untuk kategori aktris, aktris dan aktor pendukung, sutradara, skrip original, dan film terbaik.

Selain The Shape of Water, deretan film lain seperti  Lady Bird, Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, Phantom Thread, Darkest Hour, The Post, Get Out, dan Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri akan ikut bersaing untuk dinobatkan sebagai film terbaik.
