SERPONG, ULTIMAGZ.com – Sudah 17 tahun aksi Kamisan berlangsung sebagai simbol perlawanan terhadap pelanggaran hak asasi manusia (HAM) di Indonesia. Setiap hari Kamis pukul 4 sore, para penggerak aksi berkumpul di depan Istana Merdeka dengan pakaian serba hitam untuk menuntut penyelesaian kasus pelanggaran HAM.
Mengutip tempo.co, munculnya Aksi Kamisan merupakan bentuk protes keluarga para korban peristiwa kelam di masa lampau seperti Tragedi 1965, Semanggi I, Semanggi II, Trisakti, Tragedi Mei 1998, kasus Talangsari, kasus Tanjung Priok, hingga pembunuhan Munir. Negara dianggap tidak adil dalam penanganan kasus pelanggaran HAM karena para terduga pelaku dan dalang di balik tragedi tersebut dibebaskan dari hukuman.

Awal Mula Aksi Kamisan
Pada 13 November 1998, Bernardus Realino Norma Irmawan atau yang akrab disapa Wawan yang merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya terjun ke tengah aksi menolak Sidang Istimewa Majelis Perwakilan Rakyat (MPR) bersama tim relawan. Saat itu, Wawan sebagai tim medis membantu mahasiswa yang terluka saat aksi tersebut, mengutip suara.com.
Namun, Wawan gugur saat membantu para mahasiswa yang terluka. Dirinya kehilangan nyawa ketika sebuah peluru tertembak tepat di dadanya. Hingga saat ini, sosok pembunuh yang menembakkan peluru ke Wawan masih belum diketahui identitasnya.
Kelalaian pemerintah dalam melindungi HAM dan mengadili pelaku pelanggaran HAM berat ini mendorong Sumarsih, Ibunda Wawan, untuk menuntut keadilan atas kematian putranya.
Mengutip tirto.id, Sumarsih juga ditemani oleh Suciwati yang merupakan istri mendiang pejuang HAM Munir Said Thalib yang tewas diracun dalam pesawat pada 2004. Tidak hanya itu, dan Bedjo Untung, perwakilan keluarga korban yang diduga bagian dari PKI pada 1965-1966 juga kerap mengikuti aksi ini.
Sumarsih dan Suciwati mengusulkan Aksi Kamisan dilakukan dengan memakai baju dan payung hitam. Menurut Suciwati, warna hitam melambangkan keteguhan dalam mencintai manusia Mereka juga memilih Istana Merdeka di Jakarta Pusat karena lokasi tersebut merupakan simbol pusat kekuasaan.
Aksi ini juga mengambil inspirasi dari aksi damai yang dilakukan oleh sekelompok ibu yang tergabung dalam Asociación Madres de Plaza de Mayo di pusat kota Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mereka menuntut negara untuk bertanggung jawab atas kematian dan kehilangan anak-anak mereka yang disebabkan oleh Junta Militer Argentina pada 1977, mengutip kompas.com.

Meski memakan waktu 17 tahun, Sumarsih tidak pernah putus asa memperjuangkan hak putranya dan menuntut keadilan untuk korban-korban lainnya melalui Aksi Kamisan. Perjuangan ini menjadi pengingat bagi masyarakat untuk tidak putus asa dan terus memperjuangkan hak-hak asasinya.
Aksi ini juga mengingatkan publik dan pemerintah tentang tanggung jawab negara dalam menuntaskan kasus-kasus tersebut serta memberikan ruang bagi para korban maupun keluarganya untuk terus menyuarakan kebenaran dan melawan impunitas.
